Introduction

This is the privacy statement of Plantfellow, a product of Sobolt. Here you will find information about the personal data we process, the purposes and principles of such processing, and a number of other topics. Sobolt is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement.

Personal data is processed

Sobolt processes your personal data through your use of our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Phone number
  • Other information we received

Special and/or sensitive personal data

The Plantfellow app gathers location data to connect to the Easy Scout camera via Bluetooth.

Purpose and basis of data processing

Sobolt processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Execution of an agreement
  • Provide support
  • Manage the website/application
  • Sending invoices
  • Communication with you

Retention period of personal data

We do not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data are collected. We apply a standard retention period of 5 years (maximum). This means that we will delete your data after this period. Excluded is data that we need to keep longer because we are required to do so by law.

Sharing data with third parties

Sobolt will share your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and in order to comply with any legal obligation. We enter into an agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of data security and confidentiality. Sobolt remains responsible for these processing operations and may disclose your personal data to other third parties. We share your data with Hubspot, Google and Mailchimp.

Cookies or similar techniques

We use functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. Among other things, the Plantfellow website and app use cookies from Google Analytics to track user behaviour and general trends and to obtain reports. This helps to improve the functioning of the website. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google. Sobolt has no influence on the placement and use of cookies by these third parties. You can unsubscribe from cookies by configuring your Internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete all information previously stored in your browser’s settings.

View, modify or delete data

The GDPR gives you a number of rights. You have the right to view the personal data we have processed about you, and you can at any time request what personal information we have in our system. You can ask for your personal data to be changed or deleted. The GDPR has introduced the right to be ‘forgotten’. This goes beyond simply deleting your data. Under certain circumstances, you may object to or stop the processing of your personal data. In that case, we will have to discontinue the processing. You can exercise these rights by notifying us in writing. You can use the contact details at the bottom of the page. After receipt of your request we will inform you within 1 month about the execution of your request. To make sure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with your request. On this copy we ask you to blacken your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport) and passport number.

Personal data security

Sobolt takes the protection of your data seriously and has taken appropriate (technical) measures to prevent misuse, loss, etc.

Complaints procedure

Sobolt strives to provide the best possible service. If you suspect that your personal data has been processed in a way that violates the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), please contact us. Check our complaints procedure. If we cannot reach a solution together, it is possible to submit a complaint about this to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Sobolt reserves the right to modify this privacy statement. The most recent version of the privacy statement will be published.
